Policies and Disclaimers.

  • Chicks are NOT vaccinated. I do add a pesticide free piece of grass sod from our side yard on a rotating basis to expose them to foraging and a natural microbiome.

  • Chicks are fed un-medicated chick starter feed. Purina Unmedicated Chick Starter Feed (from Tractor Supply)

  • Parent birds are not available. I only operate as a hatchery and do not house any of the parent birds of the chicks at my home facility. I do provide the breeder name and credit beneath all breeds listed under my current inventory to allow access to the pictures of the parent flocks.

  • Not NPIP certified nor PT tested - yet. I do not have birds older than 16 weeks of age. This is the minimum requirement for Poultry Testing in Harris County, Texas. When I have my breeding program of Kikirikis reaching 16 weeks - August 2025 - I will begin the PT testing process and NPIP certification. This is a requirement for me to sell birds across state lines legally as well as be compliant for NPIP certified farms to purchase birds and hatching eggs from my facility in any state, including Texas.

  • All sales are final. You accept the risk and responsibility of properly caring for your birds after they leave my property. This includes providing heat packs for chick transport - this is crucial for their heath if you travel a long distance “brooder to brooder”. If any illness or death does occur within 2 days of taking your bird home, email me immediately to investigate if it stemmed from our facility and next steps. I do ask and expect that all customers are knowledgeable about the breed they are purchasing as well as how to care for chicks as young as one day old. I am happy to answer any questions or address any concerns about breeds I offer and about chick care.

  • Unsexed birds are sold AS IS. If I have any indication that it is a male or female due to autosexing traits, I will mark and price accordingly.
